It is different from a constitutional monarchy such as the one present in the UK since the monarch body the head of the government as well as the country while in a subtle pose function model of government an elected representative becomes the head of state and leads the country (Hawkesworth and Kogan, 1992).The contract function model is based on the ideas of a kindly contract which has been credited to the ideas presented by Hobbes. His school of thought of government suggested that governments are formed by the banding of people and they earn their right to govern with the go forth and acceptance of the people. Thus there is an established (if often unwritten) contract between the people and their government regarding the social order which is maintained from both sides (Hawkeswort h and Kogan, 1992). Management Thoery and Practice - Essay ExampleAlthough theories of weber and Taylor are slightly go out today, they still offer a beneficial perspective. To Webers perspective, society, and similarly the study, is something that arises out of a present of chaos, so people want to make order out of chaos and make a workplace as real and rational as contingent for them, and often this is in the form of the modern bureaucracy as Weber saw it. All industries have some degree of bureaucracy, and the beauty and hair beauty shop industry is no different. Weber thought that people should look to the past and look at bureaucracies and also how they relate to the present situation, and we can still do this today. Weber also believed in the ideal subject of the bureaucracy, or the optimal ideal. The ideal represents the idea, and the actual is represented by how things really are. There are possible problems in the situation because ideal types often do not live up to the real situation . Weber believed that focusing on the bureaucracy would yield positive results that could be construed in the value-neutral position of the bureaucracy. This led to his cookery of the ideal type methodology, which later functionalists would see as an automatic pattern of stability to be looked for in a societal context. Weber saw that the object of science was to make subjective observations of the bureaucracys function and look at these observations along methodological lines. Other early bureaucratic theories like those of Taylor emphasize the presence of an ideal condition where complex tasks were simplified, so Taylor borrowed these notions and thought about how absolute standards could be point upon the subjectivity and reality observed by social science. Taylors strongest positive legacy was the concept of breaking a complex task down in to a number of small subtasks, and optimizing the performance of the subtasks. This positive legacy leads to the stop-watch

MNEs and Globalizations Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words

MNEs and Globalizations - Essay ExampleGlobal marketing means a fully unified worldwide strategy based on consistent brand selling. These companies are progressive. The dynamic forces inherent in all progressive companies are logically directed toward growth and expansion. When the opportunities for growth become limited in domestic markets, for whatever reason, in that respect is no place to turn but to foreign areas. Controlling the far-flung global corporation-communicating with distributors and suppliers, operating 24 hours a day in different national environments, servicing local anaesthetic and international reporting needs-is a major business challenge that requires powerful information system responses (Buckley & Ghauri, 1999). modern-day developments show that MNEs is that part of the process of global management that is concerned with the maintenance of human relationships and ensuring the physical strong being of employees so that they give the maximum contribution to efficient working. Back in the industrialized nations, however, there is an increasing sense of social distress as workers see their plants close and jobs shipped out of the country. too, MNEs support heathen globalization and integration dictating vernal patterns of consumption and buying. For instance, McDonalds Corporation is one of the best examples of MNEs impact on the global scale. ... Fried chicken is on the menu in many Asian countries. Other offerings include banana fruit pies in Latin America, Kiwiburger (served with beet root sauce) in New Zealand, beer in Germany, McSpaghetti noodles and a sweeter Burger McDo in the Philippines. In some countries, McDonalds changes its food preparation methods to comply with religious customs. This consumption culture creates new forms of mold known as global colonialism (Banerjee & Linstead, 2001, p. 683). MNEs created standardized products driving value and customers taste. For many MNEs, the changing environment combines elemen ts of both new products and HRM policies aimed to improve organizational performance and global position. The process of global HRM, however, is typically much more complex, and interesting, than handed-down one. MNEs must deal with a number of key differences in foreign environments as compared to home environments (Black, 1999).The melioration of economic and social well-being is influenced by the simultaneous interaction of political, social, economic, and cultural factors-the level of resource endowment, the effect of industrialization, prevailing cultural norms about family size, and the ability and willingness of governments to make often politically costly development decisions. Also involved is the degree of penetration of rich countries in the economies of poor countries. According to Lodge & Wilson (2006) MNC involvement is life-or-death to poverty reduction for two reasons the reduction of poverty depends on the growth of business, and poverty reduction requires syste mic change, and MNCs are the worlds most efficient and sustainable engines of change. Meanwhile, a dispersal of productive wealth is

Definition 2 Gruber (1993), on the other hand, provides a more concrete definition of Ontology. He defines it as a study which explicitly explains concepts and relationships (Gruber 1993). The set of concepts (e.g. classes, relations, functions) are used to represent and describe field knowledge. For example, in oil and gas industry there is an established ontology for Statoil in Norway (Association 2008) a standard subroutine library related to an oil and gas do chief(prenominal). 1.3 Ontology Editor Ontology Editor is an application which is developed to view and edit ontology. It is the one which pioneers ontology editing (Bec hhofer, Horrocks et al. 2001). - OntoEdit OntoEdit was developed by the Knowledge Management Group at University of Karsnuhe Institute AFIB. It provides an ontology development that allows collaboration and inferencing. The method involves three main steps which start with requirements specification, last and evaluation. The first step is where the ontology engineers and domain experts meet and wrick towards identifying the goal of the ontology, definition of the domain, and the availability of references. Design guidelines are also established in this step. Then, the team then makes the ontology in the refinement phase. Finally, the ontology requires evaluation according to its requirements specification by identifying possible errors in the ontology and efficiency for enabling collaborative work (Sure, Erdmann et al. 2002). - Protege Protege was developed by Mark Musen at Stanford University. It is an ontology editor which has come a long way. Protege started in 1987 as a small application, which was aimed at building knowledge acquisition tools. Muhammad Ali sustained a rumour that his father died when he was very tender and thenceforward the young man was raised by the governor.(Encyclop?dia Britannica online, n. d.) Again, Marsot disputes this tale and asserts that his father did not die until Muhammad Ali was a married man of 20. (1984, p. 25) Details are sketchy but he followed in his fathers footsteps in the military while also dabbling in trading and in 1787 he married his first wife, a rela tive of the governor. What is clear and undisputed is military experience and connections to the government led to his being dispatched in 1801 as an officer in a force of Albanians sent to Egypt by the Sultan to drive out the French, who had invaded the Ottoman province three years earlier. Thus, it is increasingly creating reserved individuals who are so much inclined to their thoughts and feelings with minimal societal interactions. The anonymity and lack of face-to-face interaction associated with most social sites such as Facebook and Twitter provide an opportunity for dissimulation of feelings and personalized traits during communication. He talks about the Titanic being a spectacular ship with every luxury and it is absolutely unsinkable. a lone as we know in 1912 the Titanic sunk on maiden voyage and 1,513 lives were lost. He also mentioned about the wars not happening. He said that the Germans dont want war. But in 1914 the First World War stone-broke out.He said that there would peace and prosperity and rapid progress everywhere but in 1917 there was revolution in Russia. In 1939 the Second World War broke out and in 1945 the atomic bombs were dropped on Japan. This makes the audience doubt Mr Birling early on in the play. When Mr. Birling finishes his speech the Inspector enters into the scene. The Inspector is at the Birlings because there was a death of a woman Eva Smith and he had come to ask questions about her. Mr. Birling was the first person that we were led to believe started off the give instruction of events that ultimately led to the death of Eva Smith.Mr. Birling had sacked Eva Smith from his factory after she started to cause dread demanding higher wages. Mr Birling says that any man in his position would have done the same. She was making disconcert as Mr. Birling said, She had a lot to say far too much so she had to goi. But the only thing that Mr. Birling cared about was his family and the progress of his business. He didnt care about his workers and he didnt know them. As he says in Act 1 I have a couple of light speed workers under me, who keep changing. So there wasnt a personal relationship between these two until after the workers came back from their holidays that they were asking for a pay rise. As Mr. Birling wouldnt, he sacked the ringleaders and one of them was Eva Smith. without delay that Eva was sacked she was out of work for two months. She had no money and she was half starved. She had no one to do her. Her parents had died so they couldnt offer any help and her fri endings had nothing to offer her. The hulk pedigree EssayIts unvarnished that the evolution to the usher twenty-four hour period behemoth has been a eagle-eyed one. A lot of changes save taken place from the postulated land dwelling animal to a fully marine organism. It is a step voguish process that first started with a partially marine organism and then to a fully marine organism. The fully marine organism on a lower floor went both physical and physiological changes to evolve to the present day whales. These changes included alteration of limbs to flippers, fusion of some of the skull bones and readjustment of the olfactory organs. These organs view since demonstrable more advanced functions with the increased demand for more metabolic rates. The theories explaining the linage of whales atomic number 18 really authorised and to some extent rich person shown significant similarities among the species thought to be related to whales. The ancestors of whale underwent lot of modification for exam ple ability to h stiletto heel under weewee, reduction of the limbs, and change of nostrils towards the posterior and greater chances to move under water. Archaeocete Gray Roqual Sperm Pigmy right Right(whales)Beaked White Dolphins Porpoises Gange river River (Dolphins) Extinct whale ancestors Sinonyx The fossil composition of sinonyx shows that it lived about 50 million years ago and fed on other animals (carnivorous). Sinonyx was about quintet feet long with a small brain, drawn out head, short legs and a large skull. It was found on sea shores and was thought to be related to whales and dolphins because of their long muzzle which almost resembled that of present day dolphins. The long muzzle was associated with fish hunting. It is suggested that with time these features evolved to the present day whale specialized organ. However, later phylogenetic tests showed that sinonyx is non closely related to cetaceans. It had 44 teeth consisting of molars with many cusps and thin tea ring teeth. Sinonyx lived along sea shores, smaller body, and long muzzle compared to the present day whales which live in the ocean, are very large and very huge. They had large sagittal crest with a large mass of muscles for strong grip of their prey. The present day whales either have teeth or not. Those without teeth have a baleen having on their upper berth jaw mostly neutered for feeding Archaeocete (ancient whales) This stage is thought to be between sinonyx and whales. Its remnants were first excavated in Pakistan and are thought to have been living around 52 million years ago. They had better actual limbs which allowed them to live in both terrestrial and aquatic environments. As time passed they are thought to have started spending more time in the ocean and giving birth on land.It was similar to sinonyx away from its evolved premolars which were more triangular with a single serrated cusp and two rooted molars. With time they banquet to many oceans and seas of the wo rld. The Archaeocete lived in water but were not able to acquire latterly immerses standardised the present day whales. They later evolved to zygorhiza which was the first fully aquatic Archaeocete. Ambulocetus (the walking whale) It was similar to the present day crocodile with its limbs accommodate for liquid more than walking which were flippered. They swimmed predominantly and the fossils show that they lived about 49 million years ago and survived on both salty and fresh waters. It had teeth similar to those of Archaeocete and an elongated muzzle. Though it lacked a one C nose it was able to swim well under water. The limbs of ambulocetus were changing allowing them to be more adapted for swimming and less adapted for walking. Their cervical vertebrae of the ambulocetus were relatively long than those of the present day whales. Ambulocetes did not have ears and trustworthy information by use of vibrations on both land and sea. They usually lay on the anchor to detect the vibrations of their prey. The muzzle of this organism has changed very much in comparison to the present whale in which there is formation of baleen plate. The throat of a whale grooves and expands to hold a lot of water that contain krill which is fed on by the whale. The baleen plate pushes the water out of the mouth stay with only the food. Baleen therefore acts as a sieve separating the krill from the water. Basilosaurus (king lizard) It is estimated to have lived between 34 and 40 million years ago with a length of around 60 feet.It looked like a whale snake and budged horizontally or vertically. They had small hind limbs that were not able to effectively propel basilosaurus when moving. It had a single large nostril that was used for eupneic effectively especially when in water. With time these organisms were unavailing to move on terrestrial environment. There is difference of the position of the nostril in which the present whale nostril is more to the posterior position f or blowing off air when breathing at the water surface. These changes have made the present day whale to be more adapted especially in breathing while in aquatic environment. Pakicetids These organisms lived at around 53 million years ago and looked like dogs or wolves with hoofed feet. Their skull and teeth resembled the of the present day whales. The saggital crest was high and narrow with the lambdoidal crest be predominant. Pakicetids resemble the mesonychid hunting both on land and along the shores. They had small ears that were adapted for hearing and are later adapted for hearing under water in the present day whales. The middle ear of pakicetids was not well developed thus unable to maintain its pressure that limited this organism to dive in deep waters like the present day whales. The preset whale is more adapted to survive in water for instance it is able to dive deeply and swim swiftly since the limbs have been adapted to the aquatic environment. The ears of the ancestor w hales have gradually disappeared. The ears are adapted for hearing in the deep seas by receiving vibration signals from other whales like during courtship or tracking their prey.

Empowering and delegating Essay Example for Free

Empowering and delegating Essay delegating is the method of giving decision-making self-assurance to lower-level employees. For the process to be successful, a cash in ones chipser must be adapted to obtain the resources and cooperation needed for successful completion of the delegated task. potency of the workforce and task agency is closely interrelated. Empowerment occurs when upper-level employees shargon power with lower-level employees. This involves providing the training, tools and management support that employees need to accomplish a task. Thus, the employee has both the authority and the means to accomplish the work. Even though authority can be delegated, responsibility cannot the person who delegates a task is held responsible for its success in the end. Thus the assigned worker is li fitted for meeting the goals and objectives of the naming (Camp 2006). Using successful delegation benefits management and subordinates within the organization. Possibly the ab em erge significant advantage for the lodge is a higher quality of work. At my workplace, delegation can improve quality of work by permitting the employees who have direct knowledge of the laws, regulations and procedures governing the administration of public assistance grants and programs and of interviewing and record keeping techniques to take in decisions and complete tasks. Employees may do their work better because they may feel a personal liability for the ending result, even though responsibility ultimately rests with the person who made the delegation.Motivation should also be enhanced as delegation enriches the workers job by expanding the types of tasks that be involved in it (Camp 2006). Effective delegation leverages the double-deckers energy and talent and those of his or her subordinates. It entirelyows conductors to accomplish much more than they would be able to do on their bear. Conversely, lack of delegation, or ineffective delegation, sharply reduces what a director can achieve. The bus also saves one of his or her most valuable assets, time by giving some of his or her responsibility to somebody else. He or she is then free to devote energy to important, higher-level activities much(prenominal) as planning, setting objectives, and monitoring performance (Bateman and Snell 2007). Empowered delegation can increase the coordination and integration of work by funneling information and final accountability through a single source (Whitten ump Cameron, 2007, p.467).Managers who delegate efficaciously also receive several personal benefits most importantly, they have more time to do their own jobs when they assign tasks to others. Working in management can be chaotic and hectic at times, so time is very(prenominal) precious. The use of delegation gives management freedom to focus on managerial tasks such as planning, organizing and control. Managers can also benefit from the skill beatment of lower-level employees. With a more highly s kilful workforce, they have more flexibility in making assignments and are more efficient decision makers. Managers who develop their workforce are also likely to have high personal power with their staff and to be highly valued by their organization (Camp 2006).Effective delegation is actually crucial for effective succession. The chief(prenominal) task of a manager in a prosperous organization is ultimately to develop a successor. When this happens, everyone within the organization can progress to higher things. As a giver of delegated tasks you must learn delegation happens properly. Just as significantly, as the recipient of delegated tasks, you have the opportunity to manage upwards and fire improvements to the delegation process and understanding especially if your boss could use the help (Chatman 2008). Three behaviors to be sound by a manager to enhance their skills in Delegating and Empowering are Good CommunicatorKnowing what you demand accomplished may seem clear in your head, but if you try to explain it to someone else and are met with a blank expression, you know there is a problem. Being able to clearly and succinctly place what you want done is extremely important. If you cant relate your stack to your team up, you wont all be working towards the same goal. The ability to communicate with people at all levels is a very important skill managers need to possess. Project leadership calls for clear communication about goals, responsibility, performance, expectations and feedback. There is a great deal of value placed on openness and directness. The manager is also the teams link to the large organization. The leader must have the ability to efficaciously negotiate and use persuasion when necessary to watch the success of the team and project. Through effective communication, project leaders support individual and team achievements by creating explicit guidelines for accomplishing results and for the career advancement of team members. Tr aining new members and creating a productive work surroundings all depend on healthy lines of communication. Whether that stems from an open door policy to your office, or making it a point to talk to your staff on a daily basis, making yourself available to discuss interoffice issues is vital. Your team will learn to trust and depend on you, and will be less hesitant to work harder. Ability to InspireAn effective manager is often described as having a pile of where to go and the ability to articulate it. Visionaries thrive on change and being able to draw new boundaries. It was at a time said that a leader is someone who lifts us up, gives us a reason for being and gives the vision and spirit to change. Visionary leaders enable people to feel they have a real wager in the project. They empower people to experience the vision on their own. According to Bennis They offer people opportunities to prepare their own vision, to explore what the vision will mean to their jobs and live s, and to envision their future as part of the vision for the organization. (Bennis, 1997). Being OrganizedOrganization is an obvious characteristic of a manager, but it manifests itself in a material body of ways, including in an ability to stay focused on the big picture and to prioritize competing responsibilities. In most projects, there are so many things that have to get done that its hard to stay on top of everything and in control of everything, says Kondo. Being able to prioritize work for your team is a searing aspect of what a manager has to do with respect to delegating and empowering. ConclusionIn conclusion, allowing management to pay more time to important decision-making tasks while lower-level employees carry out assignments means that assignments are done in a more well-organized and lucrative manner. Additionally, as employees develop and progress in their own line of work, their skills to moderate to the company enhances also. Throughout the delegation proces s, management and employees must work together and communicate about the project. The manager should know the ideas at the beginning and inquire about progress or problems at periodic meetings and canvas sessions. Thus, even though the employee executes the task, management is available and currently aware of whats going on. Many projects and issues are complex therefore, managers will be pressed for times to address issues in a timely manner. The manager does not have to do it alone. The manager can delegate work. An effective manager does not approximation delegating, for it can maximize the organization success, empower employees, and increase productivity. When a manager can delegate effectively it demonstrate leadership, and it maximizes the manager success. Without delegation and the empowerment that must accompany it, no organization and no manager can enjoy long-term success (Whitten ump Cameron, 2007, p. 467). Management within an organization that wants to find out how to successfully delegate should keep this quote in mind If you are not delegating, you are barely doing things but the more you delegate, the more you are truly building and managing an organization (Bateman and Snell 2007). English Traffic Light Curious Incident Essay Example for Free

English Traffic Light Curious Incident EssayMark Haddon uses Christophers chronicle of his confusion to create benevolence for Christopher throughout the book. Christopher is a 15 year old boy with Aspergers Syndrome. Christopher is extremely intelligent when it comes to maths and science. However, in the common cases of communicating normally, he struggles. He rejects being touched, and when he has absorbed too much information, he cant handle it he crouches on the chronicle and groans. His life is not a normal one and only(a) he goes to a special school, has no one he talks to who is of the same age, follows a strict timetable and lives alone with his father. This thing that Haddon has included creates endless sympathy for Christopher. In Chapter 29, Christopher reveals and justifies why he hates metaphors. He thinks that metaphors should be called a lie because a pig is not like a day and people do not have skeletons in their cupboards. This is an example of how Christoph er doesnt think like other people. This makes you have sympathy for him because he doesnt understand that metaphors are use for making things more interesting, to make more sense of things by finding similarities. In addition, Christophers tone, history voice, also contributes to the sympathy for Christopher. The very easy and comprehensible language uses makes you understand how he thinks And then it started to rain and I got wet and I started shivering because I was cold. And then it was 1132 p. m. and I comprehend voices of people walking along the street. After each chapter in the book, which go up in flush numbers, with parts of the actual story, Christopher tends to babble on about memories, calculations and ideas, which sometimes can be slightly boring. even so they show how Christopher thinks. This makes you feel sympathy for him because he clearly finds it difficult to focus on one thing The Hound of the Baskervilles is my favourite book. And it shows that he can only understand maths and science because thats principally what he always talks about. Furthermore, the way Christopher expresses his love for his father is different from the usual hug He held up his right hand and col his fingers out in a fan. I held up my left(a) hand and spread my fingers out I a fan and we made our fingers and thumbs touch each other. We do this because sometimes Father wants to give me a hug, but I do not like kissing people, so we do this instead, and it means that he loves me. This makes you feel sympathy for him because he cant spread simple signs and messages to communicate love to people in the same way youd expect or would find normal. Moreover, he has a strict routine timetable which is unlike others (pg 192) To add to it, he finds it hard to notice between a smiling face and a crying one. (pg2)

Letter of Motivation Essay Example for Free

Letter of Motivation EssayTodays orbit is like an sensory(a) book. We people now excite information at our fingertips and that has helped us in drastically improving the focusing we live. This change in our world, into one huge global entity can be attributed to the communication revolution that our world underwent. From the radio to the computer, the developments in the field of electronics have intrigued me since childhood. My interests became my passion and motivated me to chase my Bachelor degree in Electronics and communication. My quest for hands-on experience motivated me in making a radio receiver in my third semester of Bachelors. But after finishing my B-Tech, I realized that I had mastered only the fundamental principle and that there is still a lot more to learn to truly comprehend the nuances of the subject. This led to my conclusion to pursue a Master degree and broaden my acquaintance base. I believe that being fit to pursue a Master Degree program in Hoc hschule Darmstadt will also be a motivation for me to further study and look in a field that has interested me for so long.My last of applying to Hochschule Darmstadt, for Electrical Engineering and breeding Technologies is based mainly on the course structure and the various research opportunities that I will encounter there. The eminent panel of experts handling the various topics and the resources of the university assures me of the studying experience that I hope to have. As part of my Bachelors project I did a MATLAB based project named Copter Eyes with institution of a new Video Mosaicing technique. My project brought forth a comprehensive technique of real time color Video Mosaicing which invited the attention and funding of two major Institutions namely Center for Engineering look into and Development (CERD) and Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment (KSCSTE). As part of the mini project of my Bachelors course, I have also worked on a microcontrolle r based device that works on various modes and functioned as ASCII transmitter and receiver, Pulse Width Modulator, IR Tester, Capacitance and Frequency Meter, Signal Generator, Voltage meter and logical system Probe .This small endeavor of mine was greatly appreciated by my lecturers and has been adopted by the Communication Laboratory of my college. My initial idea for the Bachelor project was a communication based project, but collect to the lack of technical knowhow I was not able to go through with my project. I believe that with the knowledge pool in Hochschule Darmstadt I would be able to work on this project and also hopefully on other new ideas. I have an interest in teaching and I am currently helping many Electronics and Communication students with their MATLAB based Engineering projects at the Institute of Human pick Development.I am a firm believer that knowledge grows with spreading and my teaching helps me improve myself and the young minds of India. I am also an a ctive member of an international organization called ICPF (Inter Collegiate entreaty Fellowship) whose vision is to impact the new generation with the Lords Word. I was also the coordinator of Electrino Association of my college answerable for organization of seminars, project expos and technical fest in the field of electronics and communication.I have won many prizes in technical fests and technical quiz competitions. A Short Essay on Beauty Essay Example for Free

A Short Essay on Beauty EssayBeauty is be as the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pastime or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations (as shape, color, sound, etc. ), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (as a personality in which high spiritual qualities are manifest). However, saucer has been topic of debate in name of its definition. In order to see what is special about pleasure in beauty, we must shift the focusing back to consider what is special about the model of sagaciousness, which helps determine beauty in an object. For Kant, the judgment of taste claims universal validity, which he describes as follows when a man puts a thing on a pedestal and c anys it beautiful, he demands the same delight from others. He judges not merely for himself, but for all men, and then(prenominal) speaks of beauty as if it were a property of things. Thus he says that the thing is beautiful and it is not as if he counts on others agreeing with him in his judgment of liking owing to his having found them in such agreement on a number of occasions, but he demands this agreement of them.He blames them if they judge differently, and denies them taste, which he still requires of them as something they ought to have and to this extent it is not open to men to say E precise one has his own taste. This would be equivalent to saying that there is no such thing as taste, i. e. no aesthetic judgment capable of making a rightful claim upon the assent of all men. (Kant 1790, p. 52 see in like manner pp. 136139.However, having said that, there is art and architecture around the world which provides universal appeal. For example, the Cathedral of Notre Dame could intimately enamor a Hindu family, without them having very little or no knowledge of its cultural or religious significance. The Taj Mahal and the Statue of David could exude great amounts of sublimity to people of every walks of life. What is i t in Art and architecture that arouses such pleasure and popularity?Corbusier once said, The Architect, by his arrangements of forms, realizes an order which is a pure creation of his spirit through forms and shapes he affects our senses to an sharp-worded degree and provokes plastic emotions by the relationships which he creates he creates profound echoes in us, he gives us the notice of an order which we feel to be in accordance with that of our world, he determines the various movements of our heart and of our understanding it is then we experience the sense of beauty. The above stated personal opinion could very well be the causal agent of Art and Architecture being an inherent and quintessential part of the global cultural heritage. Also, Art and Architecture has also regarded as stimulants to generate gaiety. As Fredrick M. Padelford mentioned, Indeed, I think that we are not at all aware of the immense social asset that uniformly good architecture would be. Fancy a metro polis in which all of the buildings are beautiful, and trace the influence on the lives of the inhabitants. In the first place, it would add greatly to the happiness of people, for, as has been observed, it is the normal function of beauty to make us happy. Unless we have allowed ourselves to become diseased, happiness will attend beauty as naturally as flowers turn to the sun (Frederick M. Padelford, The Civic mark of Architecture, American Journal of Sociology, July 1908, 45-46). This short essay though it does not conclude with a well defined explanation of beauty, it will give one an idea about some the various elements, which forms a very prominent influence on beauty.
